A brand new day

Hello Twitterfeeders!

It has been quite a busy summer for us here at Twitterfeed HQ and I just wanted to take give you guys a quick update on what we’ve been upto.

But first, let me introduce myself. I’m Aditya and I’ve just taken on the role of General Manager of Twitterfeed after having been consulting for the company for the past few months. I’m super excited to be here, and to work with Mario and Scott to help build Twitterfeed into an amazing tool for all our users. Also, many thanks to Tony for his help in taking care of Twitterfeed over the past year. We wish him and Chartbeat all the best!

We realize that we’ve faced some downtime and delivery problems over the past few months and I’d like to emphasize that our biggest goal in the coming months is to provide you with a much more reliable and stable service. Twitterfeed as a service has been growing like a weed and it has been hard to manage this growth. We are very thankful to all our users for sticking by us through these tough times.

We are confident that the worst is over and that we’re on our way to servicing all your feed publishing and social media needs in the best possible way. To that effect, we’ve just completed our move into a new data center on the West Coast. Along with acquiring new hardware and being closer to both Twitter and Facebook, we’ve also been busy at re-building our software infrastructure to be more stable and reliable, and you will begin to see these improvements in the next couple of weeks.

What you will also see are features that you’ve all been asking for, which we will begin gradually rolling out to users in the coming weeks! If there’s anything specific that you’d like to see, please sound off in the comments or in the Ideas section of our GetSatisfaction forum.

Lastly, we’d like to work better with all of you to ensure that you’re happy with Twitterfeed and are receiving a good quality of service, please feel free to email me (aditya@twitterfeed.com) or tweet at us (@twfeed) or leave feedback in our support forum if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions.

Happy publishin’!
